Language and Linguistics
I have taught in three different degree colleges in Abohar (Punjab) from 2009 to 2014. During this period, I noticed that the rural students did not feel comfortable in learning English language. They relied more on cramming to pass the examination of English rather than to decode the primary ideas of literary texts. Stylistics has had a considerable influence on my methodology. The theory of stylistics can be applied to Undergraduate classes to make the learning process easy.
